Chemical peel is a very beautiful treatment but the question is, do you need a chemical peel like right now? Because when some of our clients come in for consultation, they will be like, “I want to do a chemical peel” and they feel disappointed when we say “Oh, you cannot do a chemical peel now”. There are a lot of reasons why you cannot do a chemical peel like right now. Your skin might not really need a chemical peel.

Now, imagine your skin barrier is impaired and then you be like, “Oh I want to do a chemical peel”. You cannot do a chemical skin on an impaired skin barrier. I mean that is why you are coming to professionals, right? To let you know, okay this is what your skin needs. And the thing is, we don’t really recommend what you want, we recommend what your skin needs. There is a difference. You want a chemical peel that’s why you came, but we are not recommending it to you now we are recommending another thing. So we might be recommending a routine for you. That is what you need at the time.

Now chemical peel is a very beautiful treatment but then again everybody is not a candidate for chemical peel.
